Isthmus Eye Care Contact Lenses
At Isthmus Eye Care we utilize the latest technology and highest quality contact lenses and fit them to your personalized prescription and lifestyle needs. All of our contact lens fittings come with a doctor's consultation including education on wear and care of the lenses and necessary trial lenses. For patients new to contact lenses, we teach and demonstrate lens insertion and removal, as well as instruct you on how to clean and replace lenses.
The Isthmus Eye Care TruFit Promise for Contact Lenses
At Isthmus Eye Care, we want you to experience your "true fit": the right lens, prescription and promise for the health of your vision. After an evaluation of your eye health and prescription with our doctors, we'll provide you with the recommended trial contact lenses fit to your specifications. We’ll remain available to see you for follow-up visits, answer any questions, and make any necessary adjustments to your lenses- for a full 90 days! Once you and your doctor are satisfied with the vision and fit of your contact lenses, we’ll authorize your prescription and order your annual supply.
At Isthmus Eye Care, we want you to purchase your contact lenses from us with confidence. If you rip or lose a contact lens, we will give you a replacement lens at no additional cost (some specialty lenses excluded). If your prescription changes or lenses become intolerable, we will reimburse you for any unopened, unmarked boxes of contact lenses that you have purchased from Isthmus Eye Care within a year of your last exam. That's our contact lens TruFit Promise to you. Contact Isthmus Eye Care to discover which of the following contact lens options might be for you.
Soft Disposable Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Our one day, two week or one month disposable lenses are designed for health, comfort and convenience. They're perfect for the occasional or full-time wearer and are also available in specialty designs including toric (lenses designed to correct astigmatism) and multifocal (lenses designed to correct distance and near vision). Some soft contact lens brands are even FDA-approved for continuous, overnight wear.
One Day Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
One day lenses are designed to be conveniently disposed of at the end of each day- eliminating the need for cleaning and storage of the lenses. Fresh, new contact lenses every day means healthier eyes. One-day lenses are ideal for occasional wearers, kids, patients who suffer from allergies and dry eye, or those looking for a convenient and healthy way to wear contacts.
Continuous Wear Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Experience the freedom and convenience of clear vision 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. Revolutionary new contact lens materials made from silicone hydrogel allow more oxygen to flow through the lenses and onto your eyes—making them healthy to wear for long daytime hours, as well as through the night.
Astigmatism Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Uncorrected astigmatism can cause eyestrain and fatigue—not to mention poor vision. Our stable and thin toric contact lenses are designed to give comfort and consistent clarity of vision to our patients with astigmatism.
Multifocal Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Eliminate the need for reading glasses with multifocal contact lenses! These specialty lenses are designed to correct both distance and near vision within the same lens. Multifocal contact lenses make it possible for patients who need a bifocal, or have separate distance and near prescriptions, to see everything from up-close reading, to intermediate computer work, and street signs while driving.
Color Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Colored lenses are available in a wide variety of natural and vivid colors. They are a great way to change your look and are available in many prescriptions as well as without prescription, for those patients who don't need correction to see clearly.
Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses from Isthmus Eye Care
Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses offer optimum lens life and excellent visual clarity. RGP contact lenses are made of firm plastic that still allows oxygen to reach the eye. These lenses are available in specialty designs for astigmatism and multifocal visual needs. RGP’s are also used to manage some eye conditions.
Contact Lens Solutions from Isthmus Eye Care
It may seem that all contact lens solutions are the same, but they are very different. Each brand of contact lens solution contains unique ingredients that can interact with contact lenses, the eye’s surface, or tears, which affect both the cleanliness and comfort of the lenses. Consult your Isthmus Eye Care doctor to determine which type of solution is best for you.
