Kallie A. Harrier, OD, MPH, FAAO

Dr. Kallie A. Harrier is excited to join Isthmus Eye Care and return to Madison.
A DeForest, WI native, Dr. Kallie Harrier is excited to join Isthmus Eye Careand return to Dane County. Dr. Harrier earned her Associate of Arts in Visual Communications from Madison Area Technical College in 2008. She then moved to Arizona where she earned her Bachelor of Life Science Degree in 2014 from Arizona State University. Dr. Harrier graduated from MCPHS University with her doctorate of optometry in 2019 also earning the Eschenbach "Excellence in Low Vision Award" for her passion of helping those with sight loss. Recently, she earned her Masters of Public Health from MCPHS University and is hoping to use her new found knowledge to help advocate for optometry, eye health, and for those within the sight loss community.
Dr. Harrier loves being able to connect with her patients and see friendly faces year to year. She is passionate about helping those with sight loss improve their quality of life by offering low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Harrier is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Wisconsin Optometric Association, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. She enjoys working with the Special Olympics, offering free eye exams to athletes. She also sits on the advisory board for a National non-profit, The Lannie D Chesapeake Lighthouse that aims at normalizing the idea of those within the sight loss community working in all career fields at comparable rates to their sighted peers.
When not at the office, Kallie enjoys the great outdoors with her husband, Nick. They are currently working their way toward visiting every National Park in the country. Kallie loves to hike, kayak, cross country ski and spend time with her two Siberian huskies, Nyla and Sabine.
