Dr. Stephanie A. Koss believes that each patient is unique, and she strives to tailor her care to meet the needs of each individual.

A Wisconsin native, Dr. Stephanie A. Koss received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2018, and then went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2022, graduating with honors.

During her fourth year, Dr. Koss completed clinical externship rotations in various locations across the country, including Colorado, New York, and Illinois. She completed a post-graduate optometric residency program in Ocular Disease/Primary Care at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL.

Throughout her training and education, Dr. Koss has received several awards and honors, including the Tomb and Key Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, as well as the Clinical Excellence Award for receiving honors at each of her fourth year externship sites. She was also granted various scholarships for her excellence and competency in academics and patient care.

Dr. Koss is passionate about patient education and advocating for the importance of eye care to the general public. Some of her optometric interests include primary care, ocular disease, emergency eye care, glaucoma, dry eye, and neuro-optometry. Dr. Koss has presented at several optometric meetings across the country, and she was awarded Fellowship status through American Academy of Optometry in 2023.

In her free time, Dr. Koss enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, family, and friends, reading, playing board games, cooking, traveling, jet-skiing on the Wisconsin river, trying new local breweries, and listening to music of all decades.
